Arsenal II Release Notes For up to date information on Arsenal II, please consult the Camelot Systems website (http://camelot.warzone.com/)An explanation of most of the variables that Arsenal II can edit will be available in an upcoming version of Arsenal II in the interface itself.
This documentation is simply going to cover the changes made to Arsenal II that will help to make it easier for CWAD Authors to use.Arsenal II now has the ability to store custom text for many of the lists in the editor. You can specify your own names for units, upgrades, sprites, etc. To get this feature working, simply start up Arsenal II, then immedieately close it. You should see (if you had a CWAD open) several new files that have appeared in the CWAD archive in the "arsenal" directory. These are all text files and can be edited by double-clicking on them. You can change the text contained within, but be sure to keep the same number of lines for each of the files. Failing to do so could result in abnormal behavior by Arsenal II.
Should you corrupt the text files, simply select the corrupted ones, and drag them to the "Delete" icon in the corner of CWAD Manager. The next time you run Arsenal II the default text will be used and the default files placed in your CWAD.
This feature should prove to be quite useful to Total Conversion authors who want to ease the editing of their Total Conversions by customizing Arsenal II to use the names of their various graphics, portraits, units, upgrades, technology, etc.
